Frankendael is located just outside Den Burg. Rural with a beautiful view over the countryside and only a 10-minute walk from the lively center of Den Burg. Here you will find plenty of shops, terraces, cafes and restaurants. Due to its central location on the island, this is a great starting point for your trips on Texel. Within a radius of about 6 kilometers you will find the North Sea beach and the villages of Den Hoorn, De Waal, Oudeschild and De Koog. In the immediate vicinity are several attractions, such as museums and sheep and cheese farms that you can visit. Just outside Den Burg are the Hoge Berg nature reserves and the Waal and Burg bird sanctuary.

Ruhiges Haus mit wunderschönen Blick in die Felder vor Den Burgh

Gemütliches Haus mit tollem Blick in die Felder- Sonnenuntergänge! Das Haus war zweckmässig eingerichtet mit guter Fussbodenheizung und grosszügigem Wohnraum. Der Bauernhof mit Lämmern, Hühnern etc. war ca 5‘ entfernt, zum Meer ca 15 Autominuten. Den Burgh nur 10’ zu Fuss zum Einkaufen. Sehr unkomplizierte Vermittlung/Schlüsselübergabe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus Duinzicht und in der ruhigen Umgebung konnte man sich sehr gut erholen.

Rustig, eenvoudig maar zeer comfortabel

Het huisje komt eenvoudig over, maar is zeer comfortabel: goede bedden, uitstekende huisraad, vloerverwarming. Het was goed schoon en de ontvangst was hartelijk. Wifi uitstekend dus goed voor een 'workation'. Ik begreep niet hoe radio en TV werkte maar heb er ook geen moeite in gestoken.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
