Location

The small-scale Bungalowpark Gortersmient is located on the edge of the forest, on the west side of Texel. You can walk straight into the forest from the park. This is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, which runs from the southern tip to the lighthouse. An extensive network of cycling, driving and hiking trails runs through this vast nature reserve. The beach is 10 minutes by bike. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is 3.5 km away and the seaside resort of De Koog is 4 km away. In the area you will find some restaurants and sights.

Die Lage ist super, die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Die Lage ist gut, zwischen De Koog und Den Burg. Der Park ist ruhig und das Haus an sich super. Die Ausstattung passt auch. Lediglich die Sauberkeit müssen wir Bemängeln. Der Boden war sehr schmutzig. Direkt nach der Ankunft ist uns etwas Wasser umgefallen, beim aufwischen war das weiße Tuch sofort schwarz. Wir haben kleine Kids, die stecken die Füße gerne mal unter den Teppich. Dort wurde schon Wochen nicht mehr gereinigt. Im Schlafzimmer wurden wir von einem nassen Boden überrascht. Das Waschbecken war undicht. Wir wollten so spät abends niemanden mehr kontaktieren, haben es selbst repariert und das Haus selbst gereinigt. Die Vermieter waren darüber nicht begeistert und erst nach Diskussionen haben wir einen Teil der Endreinigung wieder bekommen. Sehr schade, wir werden in diesen Park nicht mehr wiederkommen.
