Location

The small-scale Bungalowpark Gortersmient is located on the edge of the forest, on the west side of Texel. You can walk straight into the forest from the park. This is part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, which runs from the southern tip to the lighthouse. An extensive network of cycling, driving and hiking trails runs through this vast nature reserve. The beach is 10 minutes by bike. The largest village of Texel, Den Burg, is 3.5 km away and the seaside resort of De Koog is 4 km away. In the area you will find some restaurants and sights.

Gastvrijheid betreft de ontvangst bij de receptie van Gortersmient. De ontvangst was goed. Wat betreft de prijs-kwaliteit: het kost in de loop der jaren steeds meer moeite om tegen een redelijke prijs een verblijf op Texel te vinden. Fijn dat het dit jaar toch gelukt is.

Das für uns ziemlich perfekte Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus war für uns (Familie mit 3 Jahre altem Kind) ziemlich perfekt. Die Lage direkt am Wald und am Radweg ist eine sehr gute Wahl. Wir waren überwiegend mit den Rädern unterwegs. Im Wald auf angenehm schattigen Wegen. Das FeHa ist ruhig gelegen und dennoch ist der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, so dass man bequem ein- und ausladen kann. Insbesondere war für uns entscheidend, dass das Grundstück eingezäunt ist und eine Geschirrspülmaschine vorhanden ist. Auch Hochstuhl und Reisebett konnten dazu gemietet werden. Die Einrichtung der Ferienhauses ist recht umfangreich, komfortabel und geschmackvoll. Jederzeit wieder!

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
