Description
Location:
A large part of the Wadden island of Texel consists of nature reserves and farmlands. In the middle of the island, between the farmlands, you will find Boerderij Hermanshoeve. The farm has four apartments. Apartment Hans offers a wide view. The largest forest area on Texel is located on the west side of the holiday island, just 1 kilometer from the farm. Many cycling and walking routes run through this green area that borders the beach. From your apartment you can cycle to the vast North Sea beach within 15 minutes. The village of Den Burg is located south of the farm. In the cozy village center you will find many nice shops, good restaurants, historic buildings and a museum.
Layout:
The living room has a sitting area with TV and DVD player. There is also a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge and combi microwave. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. There is a utility room.
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with 2 single beds each and a sink.
Apartment Hans has a terrace with garden furniture.

My name is Sigrid, I was born and raised on Texel. After living in other places in the Netherlands and Austria for a few years, I returned to my roots where I, now with my family, enjoy island life to the fullest. In 2016 I founded Verhuurservice Texel and I hope our guests enjoy Texel as much as I do.
What do I find special about Texel?
Whether you're looking for ultimate peace and quiet or extraordinary entertainment. It is all possible on Texel. Walking in the vast nature (Tip: the Slufter). Cycling along the extensive network of cycle paths (Tip: cycle along the Wadden Sea, there is a beautiful cycle path outside the dykes). Visit one of the many museums. Go seal watching in the Wadden Sea or at the Ecomare nature centre. Or enjoy Texel's many culinary, musical, cultural and sporting events. Texel also has a lot to offer in the culinary field. On the island, beautiful products are made according to traditional methods. For example, visit Kaasboerderij Wezenspyk, Novalishoeve, Bierbrouwerij Texels or sail along with a shrimp cutter. In many restaurants you will find these products on the menu. (Tip: you can buy various Texel products directly from the farmer or at one of the small sales stalls along the road).
