This holiday home in a renovated sheep shed is located on the edge of the pleasant center of Den Burg. This is the 'capital' of Texel: about half of the inhabitants of Texel live there. You will find nice shops, cozy terraces, restaurants, historic buildings and a museum. All within a few minutes walking distance from your holiday home. The wide North Sea beach is 7 kilometers from your holiday home. Due to its central location, Den Burg is a great starting point for your trips across Texel. In the immediate vicinity you can also take a nice walk on De Hoge Berg.

Genieten in het centrum van Den Burg

Schone kleine accommodatie in het centrum van Den Burg. Alles wat je nodig hebt is voorhanden, brandschoon en de bedden zijn voortreffelijk. Uit de drukte, maar toch in 2 minuten op de winkelstraat van Den Burg. Jeanette is een vriendelijke gastvrouw die graag de inside tips voor een fijn verblijf op Texel met je deelt. Kortom, genieten in het Schapenboetje.

Wel gek dat de ligging slecht beoordeeld wordt omdat deze gasten konden weten dat het aan de rand van het centrum ligt. Voor al mijn andere gasten is het juist een pré. Wat betreft het onderhoud vraag ik me af wat er bedoeld wordt. In mijn ogen is het super schoon en prima in de verf.... Ook zijn bijna al mijn gasten gecharmeerd van de inrichting. Kleine aparte details en zeker geen standaard inrichting zoals in veel bungalows het geval is.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
