Location

Farm campsite Hoeve Nieuw Breda is situated in the countryside in the northwest of the holiday island of Texel. On this side of the island you will find the unique nature reserve De Slufter. This large salt marsh area is in open connection with the North Sea. At high tide, the creeks in the area flood and De Slufter becomes full. The De Muy nature reserve is adjacent. Various hiking trails run through these areas for hours of fun. Action enthusiasts can also admire the area from the air. Paracentrum Texel organizes sightseeing flights over the Wadden Island, 600 meters from the campsite. The closest village is De Cocksdorp.

Toller kleiner Campingplatz

Wir wurden sehr nett Empfangen und gut eingewiesen. WC Anlagen waren sehr Sauber wie auch der ganze Platz. Wir haben noch einen Tag dazu gebucht da uns alles gut gefallen hat. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben aber Persönliche Termine sorgten dafür das wir wieder abreisen mussten.

Eine entspannte Zeit

Dortmund, May 2026

Der Campingplatz ist sehr gepflegt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind gepflegt und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich. Die Lage am kleinen Inselflughafen ist nicht störend, vielmehr abwechslungsreich. Wir empfehlen ein Fernglas wegen der vielen Fallschirmspringer einzupacken.

Texel is a vibrant island. There are many activities throughout the year. Unique sports events, culinary activities to the best music festivals. Of course a visit to famous scenic spots such as the Slufter nature reserve, the Lighthouse and Ecomare are more than worthwhile.
