At a distance of 1 kilometer, you will find the Aviation and War Museum and parachuting at Paracentrum Texel. You can rent a Solex at 800 meters. Nearby you can enjoy hiking in the nature reserves De Muy and De Slufter. The Texel Zoo animal park is nearby. Several restaurants and supermarkets can be found in De Koog (5 km) and De Cocksdorp (6 km).
