Den Hoorn is the most southern village of Texel. Typical are the picturesque streets, stately buildings and the famous reformed church that stands out for its white turret. Hotel Op Diek is located in an authentic farmhouse in the village center. Den Hoorn is adjacent to an extensive dune area with beautiful cycling and walking paths. You can cycle to the beach within 10 minutes. The nature reserves De Geul and De Hors, part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, are located in the vicinity. Eine gute Alternative zu den Texel-Zentren

Münster, August 2025

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Die Zimmer waren nicht sehr groß, aber sehr sauber, renoviert, funktional und stimmig eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte ein reichhaltiges Angebot und war gut. Kaffee und Tee wurden kostenlos 24/7 angeboten. Andere Getränke konnte man bis 22.00 h an der Bar erhalten. Gut gefallen hat uns der kleine Garten, in dem man u. a. das Frühstück einnehmen konnte. Aus unserer Sicht eine gute Wahl.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in dit leuke en schattige hotel. De kamer was prima en netjes, precies wat we nodig hadden. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg lekker, met voor ieder wat wils. Wat we ook erg konden waarderen, was dat we de hele dag door gratis koffie en thee konden pakken, een fijne extra service die het verblijf nog aangenamer maakte.
