This detached holiday home is quietly situated on Bungalowpark Prins Hendrik, on the northeast side of Texel, near the picturesque Oosterend. A holiday at this part of Texel means enjoying the fresh air and bird watching. Along the Waddendijk there are several special nature reserves that form an important breeding and foraging area for countless birds. From the dike - within walking distance of your holiday home - you have an excellent view of the birds. It is also recommended to cycle over the dike. Enjoy a view of the Wadden Sea World Heritage, the salty sea air and a fresh breeze through your hair. On the way to Oudeschild you will encounter the Iron Cape.
The living room has a seating area with TV and a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. There is a bedroom with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower and toilet.
On the upper floor are two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
This holiday home has a spacious garden with terrace. Garden furniture is available.
Free WIFI. There is a washing machine. You have your own parking space.
There is a playground for children. You can rent bicycles at the adjacent Hotel Prins Hendrik. There is also a bread service and you can book a welcome dinner (3-course set menu).
Young people are welcome if the parents are present for the entire period.
Bungalowpark Prins Hendrik is one of the newest bungalow parks on the island of Texel. Enjoying a unique location nestling between the world famous De Schorren and De Bol nature reserves it is the only park on the island directly adjacent to the Wadden Sea.
The stand-alone bungalows feature an individual car parking area adjoining the bungalow, a spacious garden and are equipped with cable TV, special warm air heating and a washing machine. Their peaceful location makes them the ideal spot to recharge the batteries or just to enjoy a few days away from the usual daily routine. Whatever the season.
Bungalowpark Prins Hendrik is a heavenly spot for hikers and bikers. The nature areas on your doorstep are famous for attracting generations of bird watchers and lovers of its peace, calm and silence.
Hotel Prins Hendrik is located in the same complex: a meeting place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or a pre-dinner drink. Once on the spot, you can arrange bike rental, delivery of fresh filled rolls right at your bungalow or breakfast.
We also offer a convivial meeting place (max. 32 participants) available for use as a private function room for breakfast, workshop or celebration. Or why not combine that with renting a hotel room and/or a bungalow?

Tip: Prins Hendrik. You will find our hotel between the villages of Oudeschild and De Cockdsdorp. Would you like to get a really good feel for the island? If so, the cycle path that takes you beyond the dikes is the best place to do this. Possible to cycle in both directions, it's a magical experience: thanks to the view it gives you of the virtually flat Wadden Sea, beautiful little beaches and tens of species of bird that often use the island as a nesting place or winter retreat.
