The living room has a sitting area with TV and radio. The open kitchen is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker (filter and Dolce Gusto) and a dining area. The bathroom has a shower and sink. There is a separate toilet. On the top floor there are two bedrooms, each with two single box-spring beds. The Seumerhuussie has a spacious, sheltered garden and you can walk straight into the forest from here! You can store your bicycles in the lockable shed.

Detached holiday home 't Seumerhuussie is quietly located on the edge of the Texel forest, on the west side of Texel. In this green area, part of the Duinen van Texel National Park, there are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, playing and sports. From your holiday home, you can cycle within 10 minutes - through forest and dune area - to the extensive North Sea beach. The seaside resort of De Koog is 2.5 kilometers away. In the cozy village center you will find many nice shops, terraces and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of your holiday home are museums, riding stables and an indoor swimming paradise.

Fijn, schoon en met zorg ingericht huisje. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Voelden ons zeer welkom. Komen zeker nog eens terug.

Fijne tuin en woonverblijf, alleen slapen een crime met warmte

Fijne locatie. Heerlijk dat de tuin omheind is, ideaal voor met een klein kind. Vrij complete inventaris. Schoon. Fijn tuinmeubilair. Wat onze vakantie helaas negatief bepaald heeft is dat we heel slecht sliepen, zowel wij als onze dreumes, vanwege de hitte op de slaapkamers. Helaas vond de gastvrouw toen we om een ventilator vroegen dat we de ramen maar open moesten zetten. Dat helpt niet als je kind om 19.00u naar bed wil, maar het dan nog heel warm is. En het raam open betekent ook geen verduisterend rolgordijn want dat ging klapperen als het raam open stond, dus het was warm én licht in de slaapkamer. Verder wel fijn dat er ook kindermeubilair aanwezig is, alleen zou ik nog adviseren om ook onderaan de trap de mogelijkheid te realiseren een traphekje te plaatsen. Alleen bovenaan de trap zoals nu betekent alsnog dat je kind zelf de trap op kan klimmen tot de een na laatste trede.

Goed om te horen dat u het een fijne locatie vond. Jammer dat u heeft begrepen dat ik vond dat u de ramen open moest zetten. Omdat een ventilator niet tot de standaard uitrusting behoort van dit vakantiehuis én omdat de buitentemperatuur extreem hoog was tijdens uw verblijf heb ik u slechts geprobeerd te voorzien van goedbedoelde tips om het huis toch enigszins koel te houden en dat is 's ochtends en 's avonds ramen en deuren open te zetten om zo de iets koelere lucht binnen te laten. Het is natuurlijk nooit mijn bedoeling geweest om dit vervelend te laten over komen. Hartelijke groet, Verhuurservice Texel Sigrid

Tips from the host

The offer on our Wadden Island is extensive and it is therefore impossible to name all the gems of the island here. To help you on your way, I have listed a few tips below. But the best advice I can give you: come to Texel, experience, discover and experience the island feeling and before you know it you will also have lost your heart to our island! My gems for you: 1. Knapsack tour from Schapenbedrijf De Waddel 2. Cycle path "behind diek" along the Wadden Sea 3. Ice cream and brownies from Novalishoeve 4. Sales stalls along roads and (bicycle) paths.
