Location
De Koog is the seaside resort on the holiday island of Texel. Only a row of dunes separates the village from the beach and the sea. In the pleasant village center you will find many nice shops, terraces, restaurants and cafes. There is a forest on the north side of De Koog. The small-scale holiday complex Strandhuys is located on the edge of the forest and consists of 5 apartments and two holiday homes. These accommodations are a great base for discovering Texel's nature. The forest and nature reserve De Nederlanden are within walking distance. Beautiful hiking trails run through these areas. The wide and extensive North Sea beach is located behind the dunes, a 5-minute bike ride from your apartment. The beautiful nature reserve De Muy is located in the area.
