Enjoyable holiday cottage for 2 people with a splendid view on the dunes.
A lovely holiday for 2 (max. 3) people on Texel at an authentic 19th century farmer's cottage. We let a cozy holiday house with a view on the dunes of the national park "De Nederlanden". There is private fenced-off terrace (40 m²) on the south, sheltered from the wind, with a bicycle shed. We also have a parking place for your car.
Situated just north of De Koog, a fifteen minute walk from the beach and five minutes from the dunes and forest. An ideal base for walking and cycling in de Muy, the Slufter, and all other nature parks on Texel. Your pet(s) are welcome; please let us know in advance.
The living room comprises a sitting corner with satellite television and DVD/CD-player, a dining table, built-in kitchen with complete inventory (fridge, 4-burner stove, microwave/convection oven and dishwashing machine) and a new bathroom with shower.
There is wireless internet access available.
From the living room an open staircase leads to the bedroom with basin and a comfortable double and single bed. Mattress cover, blankets, one-person woollen duvets, and pillows are available. At the top of the stairs is a (baby)gate.

Wind en Zee is situated opposite De Nederlanden wildlife area, so get out there and roam around the dunes, De Bertusnol, walk to De Muy or even De Slufter via Het Oorlogschip. Top it all off by walking along the beach back to Wind en Zee. You will feel revitalised, thoroughly cleansed and emotionally charged from the wonderful wildlife. TIP: if it’s very windy, plan your walk so that the wind is in your back when you walk along the beach!
