Quiet rural campsite with lots of privacy in De Waal

Location:
Almost a third of Texel consists of nature reserves. In the middle of the island you will find nature reserve Waalenburg. A beautiful walking route runs through this polder with flowery grasslands and old creeks. Along the route is a viewing hut with a beautiful view of the birds in Waalenburg. At the edge of this beautiful nature area you will find Camping Ora et Labora. The sheltered camping pitches are in a U-shape around the farmhouse and offer a lot of privacy. The campsite is located between two characteristic villages. In the small village of De Waal it is quiet and the atmosphere of earlier times prevails. Beautiful farmhouses and old houses on the Hogeind determine the street scene here. The village of Oosterend is close to the Wadden Sea and with its picturesque streets and alleys is perhaps the most beautiful village on Texel.

Layout:
The spacious pitches have a power supply (10 amps). There are water taps on the field. The sanitary building is equipped with showers, washbasins, toilets and urinals. There is also a counter top and washing machine.

Extras:
Free WIFI. It is possible to put bicycles inside. A charging point for electric bicycles is available. Camping Ora et labora has a bad weather facility.
