The village’s entrance is the Molenlaan. At 18 Molenlaan you find Herma and David. They will bid you welcome at the cottage at number 18a Ganzenvlucht.
Come and enjoy the quiet and panoramic views here.
Looking out at the front you can enjoy a grand view on wetland De Roggesloot. You can easily spot the Waddendike at the horizon from here. While at the rear you may find yourself in an agricultural setting seeing pastures populated by horses.
The island’s characteristic sound of silence is audible in the singing of birds of different feathers, the crying of geese and the rustling of wind.
The holiday cottage was built anew and offers flexible accommodation for 6 to 12 people. Parking space is available across the street. It is a non-smoking accommodation. We love pets.
There are four bedrooms with fitted washbasins and ten single beds, a living room, an open kitchen and three bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin. Apart from that there is also a second large living room with two large twin sofa beds. You will find a child's bed and a high chair present as well. We have an infrared sauna available. Further facilities such as modern central heating and double duvets make sure that our guests will find themselves able to repose comfortably all through the year.

If you are staying in or near De Cocksdorp, be sure not to miss the sunrise over the mudflats. A very good place for that is the step at the end of Kikkertstraat. This area is sublime for bird enthusiasts and there are plenty of options for very special excursions from Klaas de Jong or through the Vogelinformatiecentrum (bird information centre). Enjoy the broad beach close to the lighthouse, where the North Sea runs into the Wadden Sea and go on a lively seal-spotting cruise on De Vriendschap.
