Buurtschap De Westen is located in the middle of an agricultural area, between Den Hoorn and the largest forest area on Texel: the Dennenbos. Your detached holiday home is in a quiet location in the neighborhood and offers a wide view over the countryside. It is an ideal base for discovering the unspoilt nature of Texel. The extensive forest and dune area with beautiful walking routes is in the immediate vicinity. Walking through nature reserve De Bollekamer, between the road to beach pole 9 and beach pole 12 is recommended. Behind the dunes you will find the fantastic North Sea beach where you can sunbathe and swim. In the evening you can enjoy a view of the setting sun. The picturesque Den Hoorn with the famous reformed church with white tower is 3.5 kilometers away.
