Holiday home Texel is a 6-person semi-detached holiday home. The houses are connected by means of a (sliding) partition. (The wall is open, it is a family house for 12 people.) The cozy living room with a flat screen TV with extensive channel package, a radio and an extensive kitchen with a dishwasher, a (combi) microwave, fridge / freezer, a kettle, a Nespresso - coffee machine and a regular filter coffee machine. On the ground floor of this holiday home is 1 bedroom, a bathroom with rain shower and a separate toilet. On the upper floor there are 2 more bedrooms, a bathroom with a separate rain shower and a separate toilet is also located on the upper floor. This holiday home has a terrace with garden furniture. Extras: You can make free use of the washing machine and dryer in the central launderette. There is a playing field with a sandbox, playhouses, football goals, a trampoline and a table tennis table that provide hours of fun. If you wish, you can use the fresh bread service every morning and have rented bicycles delivered to this holiday home in advance.

Location

Zevenbergen is located with all its accommodations in Eierland; the northern part of Texel. They are the ideal starting point to discover the nearby nature reserves De Slufter and De Muy. These are part of the Duinen van Texel National Park. Beautiful hiking trails run through these areas with dunes and salt marshes and the adjacent cycle path takes you through the dunes to the lighthouse and the beaches, from north to south. The pleasant villages of De Cocksdorp and De Koog are both only 5 km away. "Zevenbergen" is centrally located on the island, so you can easily make trips all over the island, such as the Labora Ice Farm, De Texelse golf course, the lighthouse, a visit to the Texel villages or the Aviation and War Museum. Die Unterkunft war wunderbar. >Sehr sauber, modern und gemütlich. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und man findet alles was man benötigt. In jedem Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein Smart-TV. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und reagierten sofort auf eine Anfrage oder Bitte. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Das erste Mal auf Texel

Marbach am Neckar, September 2023

Die Wohnung ist sehr neu eingerichtet und auch die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett. Die Lage an einer sehr befahrenen Landstraße bemerkt man im Freien. Drin hört man nichts, da die Fenster gut isoliert sind. Weiterhin gibt es im Haus 4 Einheiten, die durch Trennwände getrennt sind. Die Partei, die neben dem eigenen Wohnzimmer das eigene Wohnzimmer hat, hörte man meist. Da wir aber viel Zeit draußen verbrachten, war das vor allem morgens und abends zu hören. Auch war zu hören, wenn die Gäste der anderen Unterkünfte z.B. nachts die Treppe in deren Wohnung auf und ab gingen. Ansonsten liegt die Wohnung sehr zentral auf der Insel. Der Weg zum (Bade-)Meer beträgt etwa 7 Km. Das Gebiet "de Slufter" in 2 Km Entfernung der Unterkunft ist ein Naturschutzgebiet, dort gibt es keinen klassischen Badestrand. Zum Supermarkt sind es etwa 5 Km. Alles ist gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar.

We are Marcel and Sandy Smit and together we run “Zevenbergen” on the Postweg in Polder Eierland. We grow different types of tulips, crocuses, sugar beets and grain on the extensive fields. Together we have three children: Melanie, Wesley and Mike. Family, company, camping, bungalow, family houses and holiday homes are an ideal combination for us.
