Rederij de Vriendschap is a unique cruise and ferry company in the north of Texel near De Cocksdorp. You board via the sturdy, self-built jetty from the beach. Rederij de Vriendschap sails day trips between Texel and Vlieland and offers unique seal watching tours. The Tours In addition to seal watching tours, the company also offers day trips between Texel and Vlieland during peak season. These seal watching tours are in the most beautiful nature reserve in Europe, according to Rederij de Vriendschap. The Vriendschap is the only passenger ship that sails this unique part of the Northern Wadden Sea. Thanks to the tranquility of the area and the high, steep sandbanks, groups of seals like to come to the exposed sandbanks to enjoy the sun and tranquility. They are familiar with the blue silhouette of the Vriendschap, and the ship can get up close to the animals. The Area The area, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is special and incredibly beautiful. This way you can see far and at low tide you can see many seals on the sandbanks. Did you know that this area is the only place on Texel where you can still see truly large groups of seals? Do you want to be sure of seeing seals? The Seal Tour has a 100% seal guarantee. The tour lasts about 75 minutes. If you have any questions, you can always ask the sailor.
