Demonstration of craft techniques

Our exhibition shows in words and images how flax cultivation was done. The end products, in the form of home-sewn and decorated linen, show that those former farmers' wives also mastered that work down to the last detail. The ladies of the Texel Heritage Museum are happy to explain the various craft techniques that were so important for the farming life of that time. Every Tuesday in the museum during the summer months.
