Café de Slock

Café de Slock

Café De Slock is an authentic brown café with billiards and varying draft beers in the center of Den Burg. The cafe is open 365 days a year! Wide range of specialty beers More than 200 bottled beers and no fewer than 14 taps, most of the draft beers on Texel. There is also a wide choice of non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beers. Meeting place for Texel residents and tourists De Slock is home base for Texel residents and tourists. Strange are the “oversiders” but for a short time. After a visit to De Slock they often return, they melt together with the inhabitants of Texel and the pub feels like their own favorite pub elsewhere. Night out In the evenings, and especially on weekends, the old guard gives way to the young who can go to the café until the late hours. In short, De Slock is, as regular guest and poet Theun de Winter puts it: "The meeting place for young, old and grain jenever".
