Texel boasts no fewer than five breweries! Take the Texel Beer Tour and visit no fewer than three top breweries on the island. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look and learn all about the various breweries, the brewing process, the Texel ingredients used, and the latest seasonal beers. And of course, you can sample plenty of beers during the Texel Beer Tour! You can sample beers from all the island's breweries during this tour. Afterwards, you'll receive a gift set of four Texel beers to take home. The Program The Beer Tour starts at 1:30 PM at the Texelse Bierbrouwerij (Texel Brewery) on Schilderend. This brewery is home to the famous Skuumkoppe beer, among other beers. In addition to a tour of the charming brewery, you'll also receive a tasting platter with some of the unique beers brewed there. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start and let us know you've booked the Beer Tour. At 2:30 PM, you'll cycle to De Boei Brewery in Den Hoorn. The brewer will enthusiastically tell you about the brewing process and the beers brewed in this small-scale brewery. We'll also take a look at the accompanying distillery. This tour starts at 3:00 PM. You'll conclude the Beer Tour at Tasting Room De Zwaan, in the heart of Den Burg's charming town center. Here, you'll enjoy tastings from the three different breweries we won't be visiting. And of course, a beer comes with some delicious snacks... Afterward, each participant will receive a unique package containing four Texel beers to take home, from four different breweries on the island. Please note: This tour requires a minimum number of participants. If there are too few participants, you will be notified in advance whether the tour can go ahead. This tour is conducted in Dutch.
