Texel Beer Tour
Texel has no fewer than five beer breweries! Take the Texel Beer Tour to no fewer than three top companies on the island. You get a look behind the scenes and learn everything about the different breweries, the brewing process, the Texel ingredients used and the latest seasonal beers. And of course you can also taste plenty during the Beer Tour! The program: - The Beer Tour starts at 1.30 pm at the Texel Beer Brewery on the Schilderend. In addition to a tour, you also get a tasting board with some special beers that are brewed here. - At 2.40 pm we leave with the van and driver to Tasting Room De Zwaan in the center of Den Burg. Here you will get a tasting of the three different breweries that we will not visit. And of course a beer also includes a snack board, which is provided by the adjacent Hotel De Lindeboom. - Around 4 p.m. we leave by bus to the last brewery: Bierbrouwerij De Boei in Den Hoorn. The brewer will enthusiastically tell you about the brewing process and the beers brewed in this small-scale brewery. We also take a look at the associated distillery. - You will be back at the starting location around 5:15 PM. Afterwards, each participant will receive a delicious package of Texel beers to take home, including a beer from each brewery. The Beer Tour is available in two versions. The regular Beer Tour (with a small van) is for 5 to 8 participants, who can also register per person. If there are more participants (15 to 20 people), a midi bus will be deployed with a driver and guide. Ideal for company outings and family outings! Prices: the rate for the Beer Tour is €75 per person in both cases. If there are more or fewer participants, you can request a tailor-made beer tour from Texel Excursions. Please note: there is a minimum number of participants for this excursion. If there are too few participants, you will be told in advance whether the excursion can take place. You can of course only participate in the Beer Tour if you are 18 years or older. The Texel Beer Tour is in Dutch. The tour continues from 5 participants. The tour is not wheelchair accessible and dogs are unfortunately not welcome.

Finding an excursion The Texel Excursies excursion platform contains (almost) all excursions that are given on Texel. You can easily search by date or theme. The offer includes birding excursions, cycling excursions, historical excursions, sightseeing flights and boat trips. You can also filter for excursions that are wheelchair accessible. For each excursion it is indicated whether people in wheelchairs and people with walking difficulties can join. Some excursions, such as those about orchids or the lamb walk, are only available in certain seasons. Other excursions are organized year round.
