Last summer, the filming of *Dating in the Village* took place on Texel. In the programme, five men from Texel go in search of love: Mike, Paul, Paul, Jacco and Mark. Together, they decide which ladies get to stay and who has to leave.

Texel as a backdrop

Texel plays a prominent role in the series. Well-known locations provide the backdrop for encounters, activities and conversations. This gives viewers not only a glimpse into the love lives of the contestants, but also into life on the island itself.

Broadcasts

From 25 May, ‘Dating in the Village’ can be seen every weekday at 8.30 pm on NPO 3. Then it will become clear whether the search for love on Texel has really yielded anything.
