Staff at the shop run by the Texel tourist information office at Emmalaan 66 in Den Burg are here to answer any questions you may have about Texel. The shop also sells great souvenirs, gifts vouchers, T-shirts, postcards and a wide range of other Texel products too.
Every year, more than 1.5 million visitors visit our site (www.texel.net), our staff handle about 25,000 telephone calls and take more than 20,000 bookings and about 86,000 guests come along to the shop itself. We like to take plenty of time with all of our guests. You are very welcome!
You'll find us on the outskirts of Den Burg. Our office is easy to reach and has plenty of free parking spaces. When guests arrive on Texel, many of them pop into the shop for information and routes. The best-selling article in our shop is our map of Texel: you won't find a better one anywhere else. The Eilandroutes booklet (available in the Dutch language), which shows the best cycling and walking routes Texel has to offer, is very popular too. Free Wi-Fi is available in the shop as well.
