Texelhopper app 1

New app for Texelhopper

From 21 April, you will no longer be able to book a journey on the Texelhopper via the website, but via the new app. Booking by phone will still be possible.

What is the Texelhopper?

On Texel, you can travel on bus route 28, which runs between the ferry terminal, Den Burg and De Koog. For other stops, you can book the small Texelhopper minibus. The Texelhopper is Texel’s flexible public transport service, taking you almost anywhere on the island.

New app, new way to book

From 21 April, booking via the website will no longer be possible. Book your journey via the new Texelhopper app or by telephone. The updated app is clear and easy to use; you can quickly rebook previous journeys and receive push notifications about the status of your journey. You pay a fixed fare of €3.30 and children up to and including 11 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied.

Account and payment

Are you using the app for the first time? If so, please create a new account. Even if you previously had an account in the old Texelhopper app, you will now need to create a new one. If you already have a ‘My Transdev’ or ‘My Connexxion’ account, you can use this to log in to the new app. You can pay in the app using iDEAL/Wero or a credit card. You can also pay the driver using an OV-chipkaart, debit card, or a valid ticket.
