Hiking trail Children's route climbing and playing

'Fonteinsnol' consists of the words fontein and nol. A nol is Texels dialect for dune. At this point on this walk, you can climb a watchtower and have a great view over the trees. Children can play fun hide and seek games during this walk, as the forest around the watchtower is a play forest.

We have mapped out a walking route of 2.7 kilometres, which allows you to fully enjoy the landscape. Dogs are welcome on this route (on a lead).

  • Length: approx. 2.7 km
  • Estimated time: 45 min
  • Pram and wheelchair: Suitable
  • Dogs: Allowed, on leash on playing fields and where there are cattle
  • Accessible: All year round
  • Tip: Boots may be required
