Creative tips for children

In the centre of Den Burg you will find Doenes do-and-discover shop, where children can attend all kinds of fun workshops. We give an overview:

  1. The decopatching/foamclaying workshop is great fun for children aged 6 and over. They can decorate a decopatch figure(s) with pretty decopatch paper and glue or coloured granules of clay.
  2. Children aged 4 and over can take part in a sand colouring workshop. Here you can create the most beautiful works of art with coloured sand!
  3. For children aged 9 and over, there is 3D pen drawing. Practice with the 3D pen first and then make a 3D figure with coloured filament.
  4. Another cool workshop for children aged 9 and over is macramé feather making. Tie a macramé feather in the colour you like and get creative.

Creative tips for adults

  1. A workshop worthwhile for children, but also for adults, is making macramé plant pendants. Tie a beautiful plant pendant together yourself!
  2. Also fun for the whole family, or with friends: soapstone sculpting. You will learn how to work a stone with different tools.
  3. You can also opt for a painting workshop by Paulien Valk. This course is for both beginners and experienced painters.
  4. Go for a fully catered watercolor workshop of with a cozy and casual atmosphere. You will get personal painting tips and tricks and is suitable for every level.
