1. Luxurious food in Texel restaurants

Don't feel like cooking yourself or do you want extra luxury food? That is very well possible on Texel and especially during the holidays. The Texel restaurants make it a real feast.

2. Seals up close

Do some up-close seal and sea birds watching at Ecomare. Discover the various marine animals at the marine aquarium and learn more about Texel nature at the museum. A fun, educational trip!

Great for under the Christmas tree: Texel chocolate. Have you tried the chocolate with Juttertje yet? And did you know that there is also a chocolate TESO ferry? You can find De Texelse Chocolaterie shop in Den Burg.

4. Winter hikes

There are several walking routes in de dunes around De Slufter nature reserve. Why not follow the semi-paved trail from De Slufter steps and enjoy the 0.8km family route? Fun for the whole family!

Still looking for a great Christmas gift, Texel souvenir or new outfit? Den Burg is a shopper’s paradise. Several shops will be open on shopping Sunday.
